The simple and straightforward design calls for a very stable and light weight top,
For it to move easily. I achieved this by making the top out of quality PlyWood veneered with
shop made veneer from the same log the table is made of.
This has the advantage of uniform color and grain matching possibilities.
Finish, water based laquer.
